On April 10th, discover the keys to an effective two-way communication as an expatriate in Korea!

Training Thursday How to lead and steer korean teams within a multinational

On Thursday, April 10th, the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Korean German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea, invite you to an HRD training seminar animated by professional development expert Mr. Simon Bureau, CEO of Vectis.

Workshop Program Content

As an expatriate manager, you must provide the right direction and momentum to your Korean teams to effectively implement strategies and achieve the organization's goals. Understanding the dynamics of your local teams and knowing how to leverage them is essential to boost performance. Establishing a culture of trust is vital for facilitating open two-way communication which leads to sound business decisions.

At the same time, you must navigate through and manage growing generational gaps and conflicts within your organizations and adjust to the needs of new generations of employees.

On Thursday, April 10th, FKCCI in collaboration with KGCCI, and Austcham, invites you to an HRD training seminar tackling these critical topics.

Led by professional development expert Mr. Simon Bureau, CEO of Vectis, this seminar will provide you with practical skills and best practices to perform more effectively in your work environment, to elevate your leadership and to foster two-way communication within your teams.

In this interactive seminar participants will learn to:

  • Understand how Korean teams’ interactions and work dynamics are shaped by cross-cultural values and context, while drawing on them to optimize individual performance.

  • Recognize key obstacles that prevent many Koreans from speaking up, asking questions or sharing opinions freely.

  • Integrate effectively within the organization to build trust, empathy and psychological safety in order to promote healthy two-way communication.

  • Apply simple and effective techniques to solicit and receive more input and feedback from employees, during one-on-one and team meetings.

  • Understand growing generational gaps and conflicts within organizations and adjust to the needs of new generations of employees.
