The FKCCI Kicks Off the Fall Business Season with a Vibrant Autumn Networking Evening
On September 12th, 2024, the FKCCI hosted its highly anticipated Autumn Networking Evening on the Raon Grand Ballroom of Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotels & Residences. This vibrant event brought together key players from the French-Korean business community, fostering collaboration and connections in an elegant setting.
Following an introductory speech by Mrs. Sonia Chaieb, Deputy CEO of the FKCCI, Mr. David-Pierre Jalicon, CEO of DPJ&Partners, Architecture, and Chairman of the Chamber, welcomed attendees with an opening address, underscoring the significance of the evening in building bridges between the French and Korean business communities. He emphasized the Chamber’s continued commitment to creating valuable networking opportunities and strengthening bilateral economic ties between France and Korea.
Then, for the first time, the event welcomed Mrs. Marlene Marques Lopes, the new Economic Counsellor and Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of France to the Republic of Korea, to the stage. In her remarks, she highlighted key events from the past few months, including the Bastille Day celebration, which, for the first time, was co-organized by the French Embassy and the FKCCI and attracted a record number of attendees. Mrs. Marques Lopes also expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming fall business season and shared her anticipation for future events that will further engage the French community in South Korea.
Following the speeches, guests enjoyed a sophisticated selection of wines and champagne, generously provided by Pernod Ricard Korea, accompanied by a delicious international buffet. The event offered the perfect platform for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations, network with VIPs, and connect with key leaders from the French-Korean business community. The evening fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and cultural exchange, enhancing the overall experience.
A highlight of the night was the exciting lucky draw, where attendees won a bottle of Château Minuty 281, a bottle of Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac from Pernod Ricard Korea, a superior room stay at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun courtesy of Accor Group, and a Helena Rubinstein Prodigy Cellglow The Deep Renewing Concentrate by L'Oréal Groupe.
