FKCCI Announces Official Change of Korean Name and Logo!
During FKCCI General Assembly on March 13th, FKCCI members have voted to change the Chamber's Korean name from 한불상공회의소 to 주한프랑스상공회의소!
During the FKCCI General Assembly on March 13th, the Chamber's Korean name was officially changed from 한불상공회의소 (Hanbul-Sanggong-Hoeuiso) to 주한프랑스상공회의소 (Juhan-Peurangseu-Sanggong-Hoeuiso), with the English name remaining unchanged. This change was voted on by FKCCI members present at the assembly and marks a significant milestone in the Chamber’s rebranding efforts.
The decision to update the name reflects FKCCI's commitment to strengthening its presence and identity within the Korean business and institutional landscape. The rebranding process has been the result of extensive reflection and discussions, identifying three main factors driving this change:

A More Official and Professional Image: The new name moves away from a perception of the Chamber as a local association and aligns more closely with the professional image FKCCI aims to project.

Aligning with Other Foreign Chambers in Korea: The new name follows the naming convention of other foreign chambers in Korea, helping to position FKCCI more cohesively alongside them. It mirrors the format used by other foreign chambers, enhancing recognition.

Recognition and Understanding: The previous prefix, 한불, was ancient and often unfamiliar to Korean officials. The new name better reflects the Chamber’s role and strengthens the connection to France, ensuring it is more widely recognized and understood.
In addition to the name change, the Chamber’s logo has also been updated to reflect this shift towards a more professional and internationally recognized identity. The new logo and name will play a key role in positioning FKCCI as a leading voice in the French-Korean business community, supporting the Chamber's goals for growth and engagement in the coming years.
This rebranding is a key step in FKCCI’s ongoing efforts to enhance its impact and visibility in Korea.
