Discover our selection of 14 talented French and Korean startups to pitch at our Tech4Good Summit 2021 from May 10 to 12!

Following the success of the 2019 edition, French Tech Community Seoul and the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) get together again to organize the 2nd opus of the Tech4Good Summit, from May 10th to 12th, 2021.

This year, our new online format allows the Summit to expand our reach beyond a Korea-based audience. Over the course of 3-days, we will gather our network in APAC, France, and Korea with KeynotesRoundtablesNetworkingBusiness Meetings, and Pitch Contest!   Find out the whole program and register to the event here.

 

Pitch Contest startups selection

Discover our selection of seven innovative startups from France and seven startups from South Korea who are game changers in the fields of 'Tech4Society' and 'Tech4Earth'

Tech4Society:

  • Alchera: Alchera, which means ‘the era of dreams’, aims to create a better future society by thinking about the era of dreams using artificial intelligence.
  • Mash&Co: Emotional intelligence made fun is a startup from Italy and France, which creates edutainment digital content (apps, cartoons, videogames), empowering kids' emotional and soft skills.
  • MediWhale: MediWhale is offering the retinal ai biomarker to predict Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic Diseases (CVMD).
  • MoreDream: MoreDream has a mission to make a world where anyone can access to any information at anytime and from anywhere. As a part of that, they are supplying SMARTIO solutions that make it easier for the visually impaired to access information and increase their information productivity.
  • Okeenea: OKEENEA DIGITAL developed EVELITY which is the first indoor wayfinding app for people with disabilities to give them more autonomy in complex venues like airports, metro stations, railway stations, universities, office buildings, museums, etc.
  • R-Pur: R-PUR is one of the leading companies of the air quality field. French born and French made, it creates, develops and sells the most high-end antipollution products. It aims to protect everyone's health through its patented filtration system.
  • Team8: Team8 is an universe for kids (6-12 years) including a watch OR an OS that turns any Android phone to safe and secure device.

Tech4Earth:

  • BOTTLESS: An Airless packaging solution for cosmetics without plastic bottle.
  • CrushON: Committed to making sustainable textile consumption the norm, CrushON democratizes circular fashion by connecting professional second-hand fashion trend-setters with consumers all over the world.
  • DamoGO: Damogo is an interconnected B2B2C mobile app to 1) help restaurants manage all their suppliers in one place and save time and money, 2) help restaurants sell surplus, unsold food to end users, and 3) help farmers sell their surplus and imperfect harvest. We not only help everyone earn and save more money, we also help reduce food waste!
  • Ingine: INGINE is a south Korean startup created in 2011. Since then, INGINE has been developing a wave energy technology solution aims to provide a replacement for conventional, polluting sources of energy, starting with the use of diesel generators in remote islands and coastal areas.
  • GoodbyeCar: Electric Vehicle (EV) Upcycling business. First, they have developed a portable power station with secondary Lithium-ion batteries of Hyundai Kona EV and will develop solar street lights in the same way. They have collected and tested EV batteries for past 2 years.
  • WeCo: WeCo is a French deeptech startup with shareholders in South Korea, making innovative, off-grid, sustainable and design public toilets and wastewater treatment technologies. WeCo received many awards for its innovation in Europe, Asia and from the Gates Foundation. WeCo has an international and industrial approach, creating and taking a leadership position in a new blue ocean maket in the sanitation and toilets industry.
  • Zephrame: Its product is an award-winning combination of clever hardware and AI-powered software designed to prevent the fast-approaching demise of air conditioning, which will cease to exist as we know it by 2050 or earlier.

  • 2,500,000 KRW Cash Prize for a Market Exploration Mission operated by Business France in Korea and our partner network in France (KOTRA, Paris Region Entreprise, Creative Valley)
  • Exclusive Support from FKCCI and French Tech Seoul's network during the Market Exploration Mission
