Great success for the 2021 edition of France-Korea Career Forum!

The 2021 Career Forum organised by FKCCI and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy between November 18th and 26th has come to an end!
This year’s job fair gathered 24 world-renowned companies from all industries, 500 participants and 50 appointments between companies and candidates.
The forum, organised fully online for the first time through the innovative event platform Placemeet, was designed for young Korean job seekers wanting to boost their career internationally, as well as French job seekers looking for opportunities in South Korea. “As companies are experiencing a rebound in economic activity in the post-Covid era, our career forum is reflecting the recovery of the employment market and growing attractivity of French companies in Korea”, said Cédric Legrand, FKCCI Managing Director. Indeed, French companies hire more than 25,000 people in Korea!
Our Career Forum was opened by H.E. Philippe Lefort, French Ambassador to Korea and Mr. David-Pierre Jalicon, FKCCI Chairman, followed by presentations by the French Embassy, the FKCCI and the French Language Institute on the stakes of Francophonie in Korea.
For a full day, participants were also able to attend conferences and training sessions by HR specialists from Morgan Philips, RDI Worldwide, Robert Walters and Vectis to advice job seekers on how to boost their career, from best practices in writing resumes and succeeding at job interviews to tips on intercultural communication and management.
