JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Manager, reporting directly to Plant Manager and functionally to Asia Quality Director,

• Delivers products and services conform to specifications/standards with a focus on the product compliance
• Manages the customer satisfaction
• Manages the quality issues and monitor the customer returns
• Ensures regulatory compliance for the product delivered to the market
• Monitors and improve the process capability with the support of the Group Process Experts
• Communicates with the upper management
• Animates/supports the regional/cluster quality network

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

Quality Manager

• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
• Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards and product specifications
• Preparing reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing data
• Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
• Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
• Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
• Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
• Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
• Manage the customer satisfaction (survey, returns,…) and deal directly with customers on specific quality complaints and problems
• Making sure the local QMS is in place and manage the local Quality Improvement Plan
• Manage the metrology of the control devices (spectrometer, Hunter, Kodak), calibration and training inspector / operator.
• Manage the supplier quality level (both internal and external) = incoming inspection, audit, complaints,…
• Contribute with production and local engineering to put/keep under control the process = tools, capability analysis, action plan,...
• Ad hoc study related to quality
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations

NETWORK OF INTERACTION

INTERNAL: Global Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing

EXTERNAL: Suppliers, Customers

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

• MUST HAVE:
  • At least 3 years working experience in Quality (experience in film making industry is strong advantage)
  • Technical knowledge on Statistical Process Control
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Problem solving skills
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001 /ISO 13485 etc.)

SOFT SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

• MUST HAVE:
  • Good communication skills
  • Good relationship skills and team working
  • Flexibility

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Chemical Science or Manufacturing preferred or other equivalent disciplines

LANGUAGES:

• MUST HAVE:
  • Korean (preferably mother tongue)
  • English (at least intermediate level, both written and oral)
• NICE TO HAVE:
  • Other Languages (Italian, French)
