Winners of the French Business Awards Ceremony 2022
Discover the six companies rewarded for their outstanding achievements during the 2022 edition of our French Business Awards ceremony.
Every year, the French Business Awards Ceremony celebrates the vitality and success of the French-Korean business community, by distinguishing six companies for their outstanding achievements.
Discover the winners for the 2022 edition:
- Aryballe won the Best Startup Award. The company, which originates from Grenoble, one of France’s biggest AI development hubs, created an innovative odor-detecting technology based on biochemistry, optics, and IT. It opened its Seoul branch in 2021 and is already widely successful on the Korean car and house appliance markets.
- The Ranch Brewing Company was designated Best French Entrepreneur in Korea. The company possesses an in-depth knowledge of brewing techniques it uses to develop the Korean market’s highest quality draft beers. Very active in beer festivals and on social media, it is also in the process of developing a central kitchen and a chain of franchised pubs.
- Thales Korea received the Best Export Performance Award. The group has been present in Korea for close to 40 years, contributing to the country’s defense, rail transportation, security, civil aviation, and space industries. Recently, Thales partnered with a Samsung subsidiary to develop Optiq, a new 4K QLED HDR in-sit and cabin display providing passengers with an innovative cinematic experience.
- Bluebell Korea won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award. Specialized in luxury brand growth in Asia, the company also attaches great importance to promoting a greener environment. They are notably responsible for the “Care Green” project, in the context of which Bluebell employees and their families, along with volunteers, have planted 2,227 trees, 735 turfs, and 1,000 flowers near Han River during the last 3 years.
- SPC Paris Croissant was awarded Best Korean Establishment in France. Established in 1986, Paris Croissant founded its first franchise, Paris Baguette, in 1988. After several decades spent on perfecting its bakery expertise and its “premium artisan boulangerie” concept, the group launched its first location in Paris in 2014. Today, the group owns 4 bakeries in France and plans to open some more in 2022.
- Accor Ambassador Korea was rewarded with the Best French Korean Partnership Award. French hotel group Accor and its Korean counterpart Ambassador’s partnership was first launched in 1987. After 35 years of collaboration and the opening of 24 hotels, the group still experiences a steady growth and wishes to continue the legacy of its long-lasting partnership.
Congratulations to the winners! They are now running for the "Trophées CCI France International", an event organized by the French network of Chambers of commerce and industry abroad (CCI FI) on June 27th, 2022.
