The French-Korean business community is ready for 2022!
Find out what's new for you and us in the New Year and Seollal editorial of FKCCI Chairman, David-Pierre Jalicon.
Dear FKCCI Members, dear Friends,
We are already quite advanced in January, but I guess it is not too late to wish you a happy New Year 2022 and at the same time, it is not too early to wish you a happy Seollal, the Lunar New Year coming soon.
Sanitary wise, 2022 remains unpredictable: will it looks like 2021 or will it be finally the end of the Covid-19 crisis ?
But what is predictable is our commitment to stand together at your side to enter with confidence in this new year. In this regard, our actions will concentrate on:
- Supporting French and Korean companies to get promising opportunities, whatever their projects are, thanks to the very sustainable Korean economy (+4% GDP & +26% growth in exports in 2021 and +3,1% GDP forecasted for 2022) and the economic recovery in France.
- Developing and modernizing our communication channels to give you insight regarding the economic and sanitary situation. It starts, by this very new newsletter format, redesigned to give you, in just one short read, all what you need to know.
- Reorganizing an entire part of our activities into “corporate services”: a comprehensive set of services to provide business establishment, management and public affairs support.
- Reinforcing the influence and the capacity of advocacy of our chamber thanks to its position as the third largest foreign chamber of commerce in Korea with 420 members and 32,000 followers, in the context of the French Presidency of the European Union for the next six months.
In short, “Develop your business, Connect people, Provide insight, Defend your interest” will be at the core of our actions this year.
In the upcoming months, we will be glad to meet you again through a diversified program. It will include in January an event regarding HR management, in February our General Assembly and Business Awards, in March a new Career Forum, in April our Economic Forecast, in May our Golf Tournament, in June a new edition of Tech4Good, and many more still under preparation.
Looking forward to meeting you in all these events, once again, all the FKCCI team led by Cédric Legrand, our executive CEO, the FKCCI board of directors and myself, wish, all of you, a New Year filled by prosperity, joy and success!
