Tech4Good Summit 2021 Set a New Milestone to Become Premier Venue to Tech Startups Ecosystems
More than 300 startups, VIPs enterprises from Korea, France and other Asian Countries Will Participate
Tech4Good Summit 2021 set a new milestone to become the premier venue to tech startups ecosystems in Korea, France and beyond. French Tech Community Seoul (FTCS) and the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) announced today that more than 300 startups, VIPS and enterprises not only from Korea and France but also from the rest of Asia schedule to participate in Tech4Good Summit 2021. The second edition will be held from May 10 to 12, 2021 with a theme of “France, Korea and beyond” and will feature nearly 70 speakers, including 45 startups, accelerators, incubators and impact funds.
The edition will be commenced with the opening remark by Solomon Moos, President of FTCS and David-Pierre Jalicon, Chairman of FKCCI, followed by online congratulatory remark by Cédric O, French Secretary of State for the Digital Economy, and H.E. Daejong Yoo, Korean Ambassador to France. H.E. Philippe Lefort, French Ambassador to Korea, Jeehyun Bang, deputy director at the Korea Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Cédric Legrand, Managing Director of FKCCI will open the first session on New Deals and Public Policies. Yannick Glemarec, Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) will open the second day on the theme “Tech4Earth”.
“It is an incredible moment for me as the head of co-organizer of this event,” said Solomon Moos, President of FTCS. He continued that, “The current COVID-19 pandemic gave us an important opportunity to broaden the scale and that is why our theme of this year summit is Korea, France and beyond.”

The event will feature a number of VIPs including Jeehyun Bang, Deputy Director, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Valérie Dépaux, Chief Operating Officer, Sociéte Générale Seoul Branch, Hyunkyu Kim, HR Director of L’Oréal Korea, David Sadek, VP, Research, Technology & Innovations at Thales, Guillaume Parvaix, in charge Partnership & Venturing at Hyundai Motors, Gulshan Vashista, APAC Regional Investment Lead at Global Green Growth Institutes (GGGI), Chris Heo, VP at Danggeun Market, Thomas Serval, Executive Chairman, CareOS, Baracoda Company, Sang Shin, Director of Digital Innovation at Temasek and Bosun Kim, Co-founder of Asiance.
The winners of Tech4Good Summit 2021 Pitch Contest to reward promising startups will be announced on the May 12, the last day of summit, and award ceremony will be taking place at the same day.
