Robert Walters Korea Successfully Held '2023 Young Developers meet-up' on 19 August
On Saturday 19 August, Robert Walters Korea successfully held ‘2023 Young Developers Meet-up’ at OP.GG headquarter office in Gangnam, Seoul.
More than 100 mid-career software developers gathered to network and seek mentoring advice to further develop their careers. The event consisted of code review session and mentoring/networking session in small groups which enabled attendees to dive deeper into topics which interested them.
The mentoring session was led by 9 industry leaders in the South Korean tech space: Dongju Lee, CTO at Lightscale; Indong Yoo, CTO at Marpple; Seoungho Park, CEO at Function 12; BumJoon Park, CTO at Function 12; Dongmin Seo, CTO at Greeting; Jordy Ruiter, DevOps Lead at Greeting; Jinsoo Heo, SRE Engineer at Karrot; Yonghwan Lee, Tech Lead at Dozn; Taewoo Lee, VP of Engineering at Creatrip. The mentoring topics covered practical tips on building a successful career as a senior developer, establishing business systems for growing startups, advice on starting own business, and insights on developer culture trends.
