New Renault Grand Koleos: The DNA of 'Voitures A Vivre' a tailored to the Korean market

Nearly 25 years after establishing presence here, Renault is beginning a new chapter in South Korea with the launch of new Renault Grand Koleos.

A symbol of a new era for Renault Korea, new Renault Grand Koleos is also a milestone in the brand’s International Game Plan 2027. New Renault Grand Koleos is a D-segment large SUV, measuring 4.78 metres in length. Designed for the Korean market, but with the DNA of the brand’s voitures à vivre, new Renault Grand Koleos delivers a unique, premium driving experience.

A D-segment large SUV, 4.78 metres long, new Renault Grand Koleos displays the main cues of Renault's new design language, blending chiselled lines with more generous forms. Initially developed in response to the needs of the Korean market, new Renault Grand Koleos was designed locally in collaboration with the Technocentre.

A unique and prestigious onboard experience

New Renault Grand Koleos is an electro-pop car, the promise of a unique experience combining French design with Korean innovation. A strategy based on three pillars: E-Tech, openR panorama screen and Esprit Alpine.

E-Tech: a pioneer in electric vehicles and a hybrid specialist through its E-Tech technology, Renault is a modern, innovative brand, deploying the best technologies on vehicles that combine fuel efficiency with driving pleasure. new Renault Grand Koleos slots naturally into the brand's current line-up of new-generation hybrid vehicles, with its 245 bhp E-Tech hybrid powertrain, rated best-in-class for its electric performance and performance/efficiency balance.

OpenR panorama screen : onboard connectivity designed to enhance the driving experience through the seamless integration of useful technologies. Inside new Renault Grand Koleos, three large 12.3-inch screens span the dashboard in a long horizontal line, bringing users the latest technology for a unique panoramic multimedia experience. A dedicated screen for the passenger, a first for Renault, offers a wide range of entertainment applications. For an even safer and more immersive environment, a 25.6-inch augmented reality head-up display completes the package.

Esprit Alpine finish : new Renault Grand Koleos will be available in three levels of trim, including Esprit Alpine, available for the first time on an international Renault brand vehicle. A symbol of emotion, premium styling and sporting performance, this finish includes distinctive design and trim features, bringing to mind the world of the French sports brand.

Human first program

This strategy sets out Renault's commitment to improving safety for drivers, passengers and other road users. To prevent accidents, vehicles are equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a range of safety features. For example, new Renault Grand Koleos has 31 ADAS, of which three work with the new-generation Active Driver Assist as part of a Level 2 autonomous driving function.

Initially marketed in South Korea, new Renault Grand Koleos will be available in more than 30 other countries outside Europe from 2025.

The first "new generation" model of Renault to be developed in Korea, new Renault Grand Koleos perfectly embodies the brand's values, which place the human being at the center. This large SUV of the D segment, modern and technological, is driven by its elegant design and the new onboard living experience it offers. Its openR panorama screen is unique in the segment, as is the connectivity and range of content. It also stands out for its engines, including the innovative E-Tech hybrid 245, the safety and driving comfort provided by its 31 ADAS, and its Alpine-inspired finish, a symbol of emotion, high-end and sportiness. _ Stéphane Deblaise, CEO of Renault Korea
