« Art de Vivre » Celebrated at the French Embassy to Korea
On April 3rd and 4th, the exhibition ‘Art de Vivre’ took place at the French Embassy in South Korea, highlighting brands that embody the French 'Art of Living’ in Korea. Organized by Business France Korea, the event gathered eight brands from the furniture and tableware markets to showcase to a Korean audience French’s savoir-faire.
The evening started with a speech by H.E. Mr. Phillipe BERTOUX, French Ambassador to South Korea, shining light on the significance of the French ‘Art de Vivre’ and the exhibition’s brand participants. Mr. David-Pierre JALICON, CEO of DPJ Partners & Co., Ltd and FKCCI’s Chairman was the creative director behind the layout of the exhibition. The ‘Art de Vivre à la Française’ was skillfully and creatively incorporated into Korean culture through the exceptional design he prepared and installed for the exhibition.
"Each brand was meticulously associated with an aspect of Korean culture, echoing the commitment to support the integration of French products into Korean society."_ said David-Pierre Jalicon
The exhibition included the following products and brands: cutlery from Claude Dozorme, tableware from Non Sans Raison, electric oven range from Lacanche, furniture from Ligne Roset, crystal pieces from Baccarat, objects from Ateliersavant, outdoor furniture from Fermob, bedding from Pyrenex and tableware from Haviland.
FKCCI’s esteemed member and active resident of our Business Center, Fermob Korea, stands out as one of the eight carefully curated brands exemplifying French savoir-faire, and with immense potential for success in the Korean market. This colorful brand encompassing a wide product range from outdoor furniture to fabrics and lighting caught the attention of the visitors, being displayed in the terrasse of the French Residence at the entry of the exhibition.
