[Webinar] Public Works in Korea - Developments and future prospects with INDURA

The FKCCI in partnership with the INDURA cluster in sustainable infrastructure in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, has organized a webinar on Thursday, July 9, entitled "Public Works in Korea: Developments and future prospects through health crises ”.

During this webinar, speakers have shared their experience on the impacts of the Covid-19 crisis, the resulting changes, as well as their vision on public works sites in the post-Covid 19 era. With the new sanitary conditions in place, public works are impacted and need to adapt. The construction techniques and training of employees and engineers will be affected in particular. In this regard for example, the Korean conglomerate Daewoo E&C could present the innovative use of drones to monitor construction sites at a distance with minimum human intervention.

We thank our speakers for their insightful presentation:

- Dr. Bok Nam LEE, University-Industry Cooperation Professor, Seoul National University Institute of Civil and Environment Engineering
- Mr. Geun Mok SONG, Manager of the Digital Construction Team, Daewoo E&C
- Mr. Jean-Louis LUCAZEAU, Former Project Director, Bouygues Travaux Publics
- Mr. David-Pierre JALICON, Chairman of FKCCI and President of DPJ & Partners Architecture
